Setting up HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-one scanner

Hello,

I am having trouble setting the HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-one scanner. I have installed sane and hplib, but when I do "scanimage -L" it says:

device `v4l:/dev/video0' is a Noname USB 2.0 Camera virtual device

On the sane page it says that the backend for this scanner is not included in the sane package, because it is included in hplib, but how do I connect one to each other?

Thanks

Re: Setting up HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-one scanner

Have you checked http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sane ?

Specifically the part about

Don't forget to enable hpaio in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf. Running hp-setup as root may help you add your device.

Read through that wiki if you haven't already.

Don't break the silence unless you can improve upon it.
