Samsung X420 power consumption

I have some trouble trying to reduce consumption on the Samsung X420.
It is a quite new architecture, here are some technical datas:

Processeur ULV Intel Pentium SU4100
Vitesse de processeur 1,3 Ghz
Mémoire vive 4 Go DDR3
Disque dur 320 SATA (5400 trs/min)
Ecran 14"
Processeur graphique Intel GMA X4500
Résolution maximale 1366x768 pixels
Sans fil Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
Autonomie maximale Jusqu'à 9 heures
Poids 1,76 kg

So it looks very promising, *but* the autonomy on Linux is far to be what Samsung claims !  Until now, I got 4 hours at best, with low use (vi, web).

So I installed laptop-tools and start to play with parameters.
But I can't find what is really consumming.  I reduced brightness to 40% (xbacklight does not work, used setpci),  configure lapmode for disks, usb, ...
One thing however is the fan which turns continuousy. I tried pwm-config but it did not found any pwm for FAN control.
Sensord only detected CPU temperature sensors.

What could be the next step  ? Any advice how to proceed on this ?
Thanks,
Olivier
