Audacity hangs when recording
Audacity was working just fine a couple of days ago, but now it just hangs. I select my USB headset as recording input, hit the record button and it just hangs. It creates the track but the vertical recording bar doesn't show up and I have to kill audacity. Other recording inputs work fine, including the mic in my web cam, but the headset mic, which worked just the other day, doesn't.
Any ideas on what I can try to get it to work? I even did the Windows thing and rebooted, to no avail. I tried both audacity and audacity-cvs. I'm run Arch-64, with openbox.

A work around I uncovered was to plug my headset in after booting. Not sure why that works okay, but I guess I'll just have to go with it.
