Xrandr - where to put it?

Hello,

I have a dual monitor system and am able to configure it manually via xrandr; but I can't figure out where to put the command such that it takes effect for SLiM and after login.
(I read somewhere, that you don't need a xorg.conf file, which would lead to auto configuration of the screens ... But if I delete it, my keyboard doesn't work anymore wink)

Does anyone know the answer and would tell me?

Thanks in advance,
GA
