By default Arch Linux blanks the screen after about 10 minutes of user inactivity and I want to disable this. I have searched this issue in the forums but many solutions only work with X (I want this fixed in the TTY as well).

Try adding "setterm -blank 0" to /etc/rc.local. By the way, your website is ... unusual.
