Is it possible to install arch using tools like wubi

I just don't want to repartition my harddisk
and I would prefer installation to hard disk than live CD

Philosophy is looking for a black cat in a dark room. Metaphysics is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there. Religion is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there and shouting "I found it!". Science is looking for a black cat in a dark room with a flashlight.

Hello @gandalfzoro, i recommend you install Arch in the traditional way... or you can use Virtual Box.

It would be possible but difficult and time consuming (requires making loopback files for / and /home, getting some magic to copy the boot files to somewhere on the windows, get grub4dos setup, and make some hooks for mkinitcpio to get the loopback files mounted)

+1 for virtualbox, or another virtualisation app. Best solution for your requirements.

Well if Arch is installable on a kerosene-powered cheese grater I'm sure you can do it through wubi. However, it is probably very difficult, so I would recommend VirtualBox; it's very easy to use.

Personally, I'd rather be back in Hobbiton.
