I have openbox installed and I have installed xscreensaver to try to manage the screen blanking.
I have;
xscreensaver -no-splash &
in both ~/.xinitrc and ob-autostart.
This did work initially but now the screen blanking is back after +/-10 minutes:rolleyes:
Any pointers to fix this would be much appreciated.

Do you want screen blanking or not? It is not very clear.
If you want to turn off you monitors after X minutes you can do this with xorg.

Sorry to be clear-I do not want screen blanking.
I was trying to use xscreensaver to disable screen blanking.

I used xscreensaver for years but did disable it now. You just don't need xscreensaver to merely suppress screen blanking. I put these lines in my ~/.config/openbox/autostart.sh:
# Suppress screensaver start attempts and autoblanking
# xscreensaver -no-splash &
xset -dpms &
xset s off &
Have a look at man xset for this.

To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.

@pyther
I am using openbox as stand-alone window manager.

Thanks for your tip.
@bernarcher
