How to encrypt existing partition using truecrypt?

Call me ignorant, but I can't find documentation on how to encrypt an existing partition using truecrypt. Can someone help?

Re: How to encrypt existing partition using truecrypt?

If you mean encrypting a non-empty partition, you can't. First you need back up your data, then follow the instructions. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Tru … cal_volume
I don't think there's other encryption software which can encypt a partition with data on it.

Re: How to encrypt existing partition using truecrypt?

There are two encryption techniques. Check the wiki (search for - yep, encryption!) to see which is more suitable for you.
