ncmpcpp visualizer

can anyone help me get the visualizer up and running for ncmpcpp?  i just installed ncmpcpp and fftw i just don't know how to set up the configuration files.

the ncmpcpp package in repos is built without visualizer support. To enable it, build from abs or aur or some other source, with --enable-visualizer

Yes, once you get the proper ncmpcpp (aur/ncmpcpp-git btw), the sample config will show you want needs to be added to mpd.conf as well as ~/.ncmpcpp/config

I believe you will also have to add a fifo output in mpd.conf
