Re: Upgraded to Xorg1.8

I updated to xorg18 on my other machine with nvidia and everything worked just fine. I was planning on upgrading on my 64 bit machine as well, but on this I have a ATI card and I use xf86-video-ati drivers. Will I have any problems with upgrading?

P.S I am still in the process of browsing through the 7 pages of this thread. Just thought if someone sees this post before I finish, I could get an answer quicker.

Thanks.

xf86-video-ati is ok, only Catalyst doesn't support xorg>1.7 (1.7 just got supported 2-3 months ago even, how out-of-date)

Thanks Vegita, I already did an upgrade to xorg18 figuring that I will downgrade if I really have to. But everything seems to be working now, except clyde -- which actually is due to a pacman upgrade from 3.3 to 3.4 (testing) and has nothing to do with xorg.
