Re: [new] Physfs

Umm..

I'm buggered if I can remember why, perhaps it was building openMotif or some other package, but I did find and use a Phyfs PKGBUILD before.

It seems to me that you have found the real power of Arch (The ability to build and share anything) and now wish to share it.

RESPECT.

Kind regards

Re: [new] Physfs

Just took a look, you built it on 8th of december big_smile

I've not been looking up the baords for this package, since it was just too easy to build. I just downloaded and built it since it was needed by the game Trigger.

Re: [new] Physfs

It's a good package to access archives directly. It is easy to use, has a good interface and is quite useful for games which intend to archive their packages.

It may happens that i'm doing packages others already did, i don't intend to "steal" them publishing them with my name. Sometimes i'm doing packages just different to others, patching pathes and so on (like putting games data to /usr/share/games/ instead of /usr/share). Some times i just re-invent the good ol' wheel, just because i didn't know it existed on the other side of the world.
