[SOLVED] Problems with Cairo composite and xterm, right-click.

To be able to use Avant Window Manager with composite support, I installed cairo-compmgr-git. It works to a certain extend, but experiences some minor setbacks. And I hope by asking for some help here, that it will be solved.

First problem is, that my xterm windows (xterm, bashrun) is only white, and if I click several times, they just disappears/closes.

Second, right-clicking is strange. When I right click on the awn dock it self, the right-click menu appears for a millisecond, and disappears with a click action on about. Same with other parts, however it works perfectly on other parts.

What can cause this problems?

I am running an integrated graphics from Intel. An old 865 to more exact.

Then I guess we can maybe conclude it be be solely cairo-compmgr. Would be nice to see how to solve this, though.

Re: [SOLVED] Problems with Cairo composite and xterm, right-click.

i am using cairo-compgr as well and have got the same problem with the mouse right-click, it just seems to immediately select the first (highlighted) option.  you can work around this by holding down right-click and selecting the menu option you want.

oddly don't get this problem either within thunderbird or firefox.  apps affected are lxterminal + pacmanfm that i have seen.

hummm, disabling Decoration plugin doesn't seem to do anything for me.

btw: if anyone stumbles over theses issues. disableing window and menu-animation plugins is a good workaround for me.
