Kiosk-esque boot

So, like the title says, what would be the easiest/preferred way to have a machine boot, autologin, go to gui, and just automatically open a web browser full screen, like one of those kiosks in various stores?  That part I believe I can accomplish, the hard part is that I want to set it up so that when it boots up and opens the web browser interface, whatever user it logs in as (surfer) **only** has access to that web browser.  So in short, how would i go about giving surfer access only to firefox and have the machine straight to a fullscreen firefox upon boot?

Re: Kiosk-esque boot

You could use the ~/.xinitrc to boot straight into firefox, if there is no window manager, then I believe it defaults to full-screen.

Could you create a bash alias afterwards re-assigning the location of /usr/bin and so forth to something else? It would prevent other programs from being run.
