Hi,
i switched from bash to zsh yesterday. It offers some very nice features and I'm still experimenting with options.
One thing that bothers me though is that if i use "setopt GLOB" (and setopt extended_glob) i can't use regular expressions any more.
I want to be able to use both extended glob like
alias lold="ls -lrt *(.) | head" # list oldest
rm ^(foo|t*)
and regular expressions like
find | grep .*\conf$.
Is that even possible?
Greets,
demian

Ah, the quotation marks do the trick.
Thank you!
