System not powering off after Kernel update

Hi everyone!

Since I updated to kernel 2.6.33.2-1 my system no longer seems to power off after shutting down. My HDDs are turning off and all, but i have to switch off the computer manually which is quite annoying. Setting apic=off and/or apm=power_off does not help.

Any suggestions what to do? Thanks in advance!

Seems like an upstream bug. I would do git bisect and then once you find the faulty commit I would post on the kernel bug tracker.
