symlink have weird behavior with relative path ?

Let's say I have

/a/b
/c
/c/b (which is symlink to /a/b)

When I'm in /c/b and doing anything relate to relative path like run " ls > ../file_list" . I'm expecting file to goes into "/c/file_list", but file goes in to "/a/file_list" instead.

There's the way to change it ? I'd like the symbolic link to act exactly like normal directory.
