linuxwacom no stylus[SOLVED]

installed xf86-input-wacom 0.10.5-1

added this to  /etc/udev/rules.d/10-wacom.rules

KERNEL=="event*", SYSFS{idVendor}=="172f", NAME="input/%k", SYMLINK="input/wacom"

But i still get no stylus control/response when the tablet is plugged in

 cat /dev/input/wacom

does not display anything when i move the stylus on the tablet. Is there a module conflict?

Okay, my bad - i forgot to install linuxwacom from aur too
