larch7, is it possible to autoload nvidia module automatically?

first of all, thanks a lot to the larch author, I have done a LiveCD, everything works well.

One thing I'd like to learn is that, my friend has got a notebook with nvidia graphic card, I plugged my Live CD in his notebook, I have intsalled compiz-fusion group & nvidia-drivers on my live CD, unfortunately,  it doesnt load it automatically, and also couldn't open 3D effects. I am wondering is there a way to make the live CD detects modules and load them up automatically, meanwhile to generate a suitable xorg.conf for 3D desktop?

thanks a lot. smile

Re: larch7, is it possible to autoload nvidia module automatically?

Possibly, but it has nothing to do with larch as such. If you can get this to work in a normal Arch system it should work in a larch one too. Try asking on another forum page (maybe 'Desktop Environments'), with another title. Maybe there is already an answer somewhere: try a search. It's actually not even an Arch specific issue.

If you find out how to do this but have difficulties integrating it into the larch system, then I might be able to help.
