[Solved] burning DVDs OPC problem

hello,

I have tried to burn an iso image to dvd using all sort of programs out there from GUI and command line
nothing worked for me

lately after looking around i couldn't find an answer for this problem

when using wodim -v dev=/dev/sr0 path/to/iso
it says

performing OPC failed

when using growisofs

...
:-[perform opc failed with sk=0h/asc=00h/acq=02h]: input/output error

how to solve this opc failuer?

Can you burn to CD?
Also, it might help to see the complete output of wodim -vv.

the problem appeared to be from some kernel issue which i fingered out to be solved using the
the tweaks on

hence i will mark the problem as solved

btw wodim -vv

show me the help information nothing much!
