LOL. Maybe they weren't that expensive for him (if ya get what I'm saying).
Anywho, I find it ironic how a Linux fan-creation was made using proprietary Windows tools. This could have easily been created in Blender.

Two things:
1. It looks a bit odd that the gnome and kde boxes don't have rounded corners since the textures have rounded corners
2. The font for the "Arch" is quite odd and not really simple enough to go along with the arch way.
I haven't lost my mind; I have a tape back-up somewhere.

That's bitchin I still can't get the hang of 3D Studio Max Design 2011 especially with rendering. How long was the render time for this?
EDIT: Oh and was the gimp box... "gimped" in because I can't see a shadow or reflection on it.

THIS IS A QUOTE FROM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linus_Torvalds :
"Although Torvalds believes "open source is the only right way to do software", he also has said that he uses the "best tool for the job", even if that includes proprietary software."
i believe for me max and ps are the best tools for my job even if its proprietary software.
P.s.- no hard feelings
