I've ran adduser, assigned myself a name and UID. Now I'm at Initial group [users], and can't find anything to use. I'm tempted to just hit "enter," but if it were that easy, wouldn't there be a tag somewhere suggesting that? I tried the useradd -m -G, and listing everything I want to use, like audio, video, and a few other things I've kinda come to expect from my computer, but none of it works as far as the screen goes.
Do I just say "hit me," like when I'm being dealt cards? I don't want to add myself to a group I've created that just exists in limbo.

Dunno. Haven't screamed at it yet.
Probably do that real soon, though.

I'm plodding along and am at the end of usergroups. When I attempt to give myself full root privleges, I get a syntax error.
I'm typing: myusername(space)ALL=(ALL)(space)ALL
I get a flag saying "syntax error near unexpected token '(' "
I may have fixed it-I think I edited it- I think. Time to mark this solved, cross my fingers and hope for the best.
