Coming back to Arch

I'm looking at coming back to Arch but I have some concerns first

I have a Dell latitude E6400 with Broadcom wireless and security (fingerprint and card) I haven't heard much about the card reader (or fingerprint but that doesn't matter) working with linux any input on that?

I would like to use Arch64 but I also would like to have wine and/or crossover gaming without a chroot setup (I have an 80gb hd, I plan to upgrade in the future but for now I have to make due)

Those are my two major concerns.  I really like Arch over Debian (and esp over ubuntu) due to its lighter foot print and the KISS ideaology and the fact that I am in control over everything

Re: Coming back to Arch

There is bin32-wine in repo, I believe that solves your second concern.

Re: Coming back to Arch

If you can get all that working on Ubuntu/Debian (wine on 64 bit Linux, and your fingerprint reader) you should be able to get it working on Arch too.

If your answer is no to both questions, reconsider.
