Hi folks, I have a suggestion to improve Arch Linux's website:
How about implementing an SSL Certificate to the login screen?
It's very annoying (not to say 'insecure') to log in sending our username and password without any kind of encryption. A certificate won't cost anything to generate and can be easily implemented. Of course, we are talking about a Free SSL Certificate, that one that shows the familiar message "This connection is Untrusted...", I don't think people here would insist in a US$ 500.00 VeriSign Secure, lol ![]()
Anyway, I wanted to send this message right to the Admins, but maybe here is a better place so everybody can discuss it and give their opinions.
So I vote for it! What do you think? Give your opinion.
Thanks!!

is there really that much sensible and private data floating around the forum and in your profile that this is really worth it?

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
