I'm using slock to lock the screen on my netbook, but sometimes when I lock it, I can't unlock it again, and have to do a hard power off. I can't kill X or anything, but the caps lock and num lock keys are still responsive so the machine isn't locked up. I've added an entry in my openbox menu so it is the same command each time, and sometimes it works, and others it doesn't. Is anyone else having similar problems?

I've had that problem too. I noticed a lot of segfaults in my logs produced by slock.
After upgrading from 0.9-2 to 0.9-3 there were no more segfaults and from then on i've always been able to unlock the screen, too.
So, if you haven't already, install the new version.
Also, if you experience the problem again, try raising the elephant instead of hard reboot.
