[SOLVED] Alsa settings disappear after reboot

Hi!

I've installed and configured ALSA and it seems to work fine, but for some reason after reboot the volume on the 'front' channel drops to zero. I open alsamixer, increase the volume exit alsamixer and run alsactl store as root, but alas, after the next reboot the sound is gone again and I have to repeat the process.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] Alsa settings disappear after reboot

you need to add alsa to your daemons line in /etc/rc.conf, then your stored values will be restored on boot

from /etc/rc.conf

DAEMONS=(syslog-ng network rpcbind netfs hal crond alsa)
