Kernel package failed to download

The ftp iso failed to properly ftp the kernel. Looking for ftp://archlinuxppc.org    path = /core/os/ppc  kernel26-pmac Kernel 2.6.x for 32bit systems.

Any ideas. So far I cant get any distro to install on this PC. It is an Apple ibook G3 800mhz ppc with a fujitsu 30.5gb ide drive. Not sure how much ram.  Debian, Gentoo and now Arch have all failed for various reasons. Debian seemed to completely install but booted to a blank screen. I forget what gentoo did and this is what Arch is doing. This box is a royal pain so far.

Re: Kernel package failed to download

Did you try this iso?
ftp://archlinuxppc.org/iso/2010.02.26/2 … pc-ftp.iso

Or do you mean the regular Arch one?

Arch has a PPC port?  Didn't knew that

Kernel download started fine using my browser, maybe you just can do a manual download and place it at the corresponding directory, and then keep on going.

Hope Arch get's it going.

Cheers.
