Pidgin 2.7 bad char

Hello

After update Pidgin to 2.7 version i can't send messages containing "&" character 
Try Gtalk and icq   
dose anyone have the same problem ?

but i can receive messages with this char

Works here (ICQ).

If you look at the changelog, it says "Support sending and receiving HTML-formatted messages for ICQ. " Maybe that's what's causing it? Tried sending "&" instead?
