Hello.
I have some trouble with my [FN]-keys, they don't work out-of-the-box.
Is there somebody who had solved this problem with the HP Compaq 615?
Greeting from Germany, deadshox.

What desktop environment do you use?
In KDE it is easily set up, GNOME perhaps as well(never used it full-time), Openbox requires some tweaking though.

I use Xfce4.6.

Yes it generates output. I can add all keys in Xfce, but is there another way to do this simplier?
On my old Acer notebook it works with moving some files, but it is long ago.

Either there is a driver that supports those keys or you have to set them manually, either via the wm/de, in your case xfce, or via some external program such as xbindkeys.

I solved this temporary with set the shortcuts in Xfce für the [fn]-Keys.
