System going close session instead reboot/shutdown after install splashy.
I tried edit splashy theme (turned off show splashy when shutdown/reboot) but it did not help.
Maybe it's not splashy problem..
Need help.

I don't use splashy but what happens when you run "reboot" or "shutdown -h now" in terminal?

You haven't provided a whole lot of information.
First off I hope you are updating your archlinux install. The 2010.05 because obsolete after your first update. Since arch is rolling release, version numbers (in reference to releases) do not matter.
What do you mean by "system going close session"?
Please explain and try to provide more information.

Could you specify more about your system? What loginmanager do you use? Version of Gnome? Is your system fully updated? Can you se anything about it in your logs (eg /var/log/daemon.log)?
I know some people have reported this behaviour when using Gnome with KDM as login manager, Also there is an older bug reported in Ubuntu for this issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … /+activity ...not sure if it's related since this hasn't been reported in Arch as far as I can see.
