Hi guys,
I'm not quite sure if this is where to mentions this, but I'm not sure if there is really anything else for me to do about it. I've noticed that in the AUR, all of the v1.1.44 packages of bin32-wine are marked out of date, however this is the most current version. Sitting along side of these packages is the version 1.0.1
Anyways, thanks for your time.
Don't worry, the worst is yet to come.

Perhaps somebody clicked on that button accidentally?
Wait some days and I'm sure it will marked back when it really is the latest version and everything went right with it.

The most current version of wine is 1.2-rc1. 1.1.44 is out-of-date (though I didn't flagged them out-of-date).

Nevermind.

we have some users that don't get it that we are packing stable released vesions and not beta/rc. since bin32-wine is following extra, it will stay like this until 1.2.0 is released
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

But wine 1.1.44 is dev/unstable and it is in [extra]. I'm a little bit confused.

In the end its the maintainer's choice. 'Stable' means different things to different software developers. What is generally the case is that the latest package which is not explicitly marked 'for testing' is used. In the case of wine, its been so long since v1 that just about everyone uses the 1.1.* line anyway.
