[SOLVED]T400 keyboard: delete key also maps to print screen

So I have my T400 up and running Arch with gnome, everything is great but the keyboard.

Specifically 2 keys:

1. Whenever I press delete, it deletes as normal, but also comes up with a print screen dialog.

2. Pressing the down arrow key functions both as down and enter, effectively making my time with the terminal extremely hazardous.

Also the left and right arrow keys won't repeat, but all of the other keys will. If I ctrl-alt-f1 into the virtual terminal the keyboard works normally though.

All of the other keys are fine though, even the Fn + keys work.

I've looked around and tried a number of things, but I can't figure out the problem. I don't think its just gnome, since I get the same results in openbox.

I'm using input hotplugging and the keyboard is set to evdev-managed keyboard.

Can anyone think of something I might have missed? I love Arch, but I'm getting close to removing it permanently and switching to another distro that actually works.

Got it.

I added

Option "AllowEmptyInput" "on"

to my xorg.conf file and everything is working properly now.
