Installed Wolfentstein Enemy Territory but i get an error. Any ideas?

I'm getting this error:

Failed to execute child process "enemy-territory" (No such file or directory)

Why might it say that after installing the package?

I'd hazard a wild guess that a file or directory is missing, judging from that error message wink

Debug it. E.g.:

strace -e trace=file enemy-territory-or-whatever-your-executable-is

lol, that's what i think too. Does that mean the package is broken? (I got it from [arch-games] with pacman)

I installed strace and did that and it said this:

strace: enemy-territory: command not found

Hmmm

Re: Installed Wolfentstein Enemy Territory but i get an error. Any ideas?

Well it appears the path doesn't even exist! There is also no "enemy-territory" command after the install either!

The which command gives me this:

[root@rocketship /]# which enemy-territory
which: no enemy-territory in (/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin/perlbin/site:/usr/bin/perlbin/vendor:/usr/bin/perlbin/core)

Perhaps the enemy-territory package from [arch-games] is broken?

The command that the shortcut uses (made by the package installation) is enemy-territory!

Re: Installed Wolfentstein Enemy Territory but i get an error. Any ideas?

I tried re-installing enemy-territory but i'm still getting the same error!

Failed to execute child process "enemy-territory" (No such file or directory)

I wonder why it won't work for me but works for you xenofungus?
