Window Manager behaviour

What makes the window bar go away on some applications such as VirtualBox.  It goes away and then the window can't be moved or sized after that.  Kinda like running without a window mananger; such as failsafe.

Re: Window Manager behaviour

Please tell us which window manager/de you are using.  Are you using Compiz?

Re: Window Manager behaviour

Window manager is corrupted because of your nick. You can use tty only.

Re: Window Manager behaviour

It has happened in the minimalistic window managers for sure.  I haven't tried the 'mainstream' such as gnome with the 'fussy' applications.

Re: Window Manager behaviour

Specifically, which one? Are you still able to move the window with (eg.) left alt + LMB? My guess is there is some rule in config disabling border for such window.

Thank you, loafer wink
