Wireless

Hello,

Im trying to get my wireless up. I have read the wiki:

rt2860 and rt2870
In kernel since 2.6.29 and requires no extra packages. It can be configured using the standard wpa_supplicant and iwconfig tools.
It has a wide range of options that can be configured with iwpriv. These are documented in the source tarballs available from Ralink
For rt2870sta, also see Rt2870

Im having the rt2860 but i don't know how to install it. I have installed netcfg and my file looks like:

CONNECTION='wireless'
DESCRIPTION='Connect to home'
INTERFACE='wlan0'
SECURITY='wep'
ESSID='otter'
KEY='password'
IP='dhcp'

When i do ifconfig wlan0 up i get

SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory

But i got an error when i run "netcfg otter" it shows otter up and gives the error could not set interface ' wlan0' up. Anyone knows how to install my wireless card

Cheers,

Niels
