that happened to me when flash player was installed in two places at once. try uninstalling all your flashplayer(s) and reinstall. or for you, uninstall the other flash thing.

seems like "turning it off and on again" has solved the problem ![]()

I can't see flash content either in Chromium, it says "Missing plug-in". I have checked in "about:plugins" and it's enabled and located correctly. I only installed flashplugin from extra repo.
I did as this post with no success: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … 26#p774726
Any ideas?

You got me, why did the chicken cross the street?
Sth tells me it's the usual permissions issue. Try to reinstall flash and check out if there are any error messages. Or read the wiki http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fla … ot_working
Edit: OK, I've checked the other thread and you said it didn't work, but let's check it anyway
Post the output of

Post 'ls -l /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so' again - after that update. Is this the file chromium is pointing to?
Maybe you can reinstall chromium.

I reinstalled chromium, and flashplayer-native64, now the file is:
macmini:~ $ ls -l /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
total 9364
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 9570824 Jul 13 02:28 lib64flashplayer.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 35 Apr 15 19:01 libnpjp2.so -> /opt/java/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.soIn Chromium I type 'about:plugins' and it loads the plugin:
Shockwave Flash
Description: Shockwave Flash 10.0 r45
Location: /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/lib64flashplayer.so
MIME types:
MIME type Description File extensions
application/x-shockwave-flash Shockwave Flash
.swf
application/futuresplash FutureSplash Player
.spl
DisableBut it crashes. ....
If I run Chromium at the console I get this:
12810:12810:709615066870:ERROR:chrome/browser/tab_contents/tab_contents.cc(1910)] Not implemented reached in virtual void TabContents::OnCrashedPlugin(const FilePath&) convert plugin path to plugin nameBut it doesn't seem to be related ...
BTW thanks karol por your patience and support ...

You're welcome, but I'm not really helping much. Where's that damn rabbit foot when you need one ...
Are you running 64-bit Arch?
Can you run flash on some sites or it isn't working at all? Can you post a couple links to the sites that are not working?
Google pointed to this
http://pastebin.archlinux.fr/403790
Maybe you can try nspluginwrapper.

Indeed I'm using arch x86_64
As root, I can run all flash content, as regular user: none. It crashes, or simply doesn't load, showing a "Missing Plug-in" message...
I'm lost

Maybe the other plugin is crashing chromium?
