Alt+F2 Not working [SOLVED]

The default action in Gnome for pressing Alt+F2 is to bring up the run dialog.  However for me it's not working.  I've checked the gnome preferences and it's set properly.  I even tried to reset it and it's still not working.

An odd thing to note, while in a gnome-terminal, if I press ALT+F2 it shows:  ;3Q

I have no idea what that means.

Do you have Compiz enabled? It grabs keystrokes itself so you must go into the Compiz settings to check what its keystrokes are set to.

Re: Alt+F2 Not working [SOLVED]

Ah, good call.  I disabled compiz and ALT+F2 worked, now I just need to figure out where in the compiz settings it's intercepting the keystrokes.

*Edit*
Found it.  I had to enable "Gnome Compatibility"
