[SOLVED] Flash Black Screen Issue

I'm posting this even though I solved it myself.

I updated flashplugin and swfdec so I could play flash movies (youtube, etc.). When I did this it made all flash videos be a black screen or some really old UI that wasn't actually loading the video.

Ultimately, the problem was with multiple flash plugins for browsers. Specifically swfdec-mozilla and flashplugin. These two conflict, apparently, which caused the loss of videos.

They may not necessarily conflict, per se, but that was how I solved it. More specific than that, I uninstalled swfdec-mozilla plugin and installed the AUR version of flashplugin which is the prerelease.

So if you're having problems similar to mine, check your conflicting plugins. Hope this saves someone the hour it took me to undo this.
