RAID controller

Hi all,
I'm still working to setup a real working machine with arch.
I'm at a good point but I've some problem...
The big one is the follow...
I've an adaptech 1220SA controller with two disk in raid 1.
I've installed arch on a single disk attached to the internal controller of my Asus P5B.
After installation and first config complete I've attacched again the two disk to the adaptec controller but, when i boot up the system, I got trouble!
Arch found problem during "checking filesystems" and stop.
The disk are formatted with ext4 and contain no data and label.
I've read some forum where people speak about "The superblock coul'd not be read or does not describe a correct...." but I'm still not able to solve.
Can some one help me?

Thank you in advance!
Alex

Re: RAID controller

OK...
I'm back on the topic because after a temporary workaround I'm intent to solve the problem...
I'm so sure that I miss the driver for my sata raid add-on card.

I've found here (http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/support/ra … AR-1220SA/) these two link:

- http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/downloads/ … AID+1220SA
- http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/downloads/ … AID+1220SA

There're a driver package and a software management interface but all are a rpm.
Can some one help me on install both driver and software?

I've also try to search something like rpm -> arch pkg (PKGBUILD) with no usefull result (for me.. ;-) )

Hope in you...
