Hi there.
When I go to http://trailers.apple.com/ page, I notice my PC CPU hits the 100% usage. Without doing anything, just looking at the page. Moving away from the first page, it goes back to normal usage.
I checked the processes with Htop and it is the Xorg using all. My graphics card is Nvidia 6200LE with Nvidia drivers and works fine with all other programs.
Any idea of what to check for?

Does this happen on all browsers? Try Firefox, Midori, Opera, etc

you didn't said what plugin do you use. totem-plugin,gecko-mediaplayer etc
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Sorry, I forgot about the browser.
I use Firefox and my plugin is Gecko Mediaplayer 0.9.9.2. If I select a movie, when it's page is shown to select what trailer I want to watch, it is fine and works as usual. Just the first page.
Now, I disabled all plugins even Gecko and all extentions like adblock and noscript. Just going to the first page, CPU goes up to 100% again. Then I installed Chromium and tried the same page. CPU stayed normal around 10% !
It seems it is Firefox. I wonder why.

I tried Apple Trailers front page on an older laptop with ATI mobility graphics and Firefox. It is the same 100% CPU.
I renamed my .mozilla directory temporarily to check if anything was corrupted and making this problem. Still the same! I don't know what to test more.
Yours working right when you are on the front page and scrolling a bit down and up?

Until finding a solution, I downloaded Ubuntu and Mint live CDs and booted my system with them.
Accessing with Firefox the Apple Trailers front page, it works normally and CPU usage rest normal.
I can just conclude this is my Archlinux installation that is casing this problem without finding out why.
I wonder what sort of scripts are running on this Apple page. Perhaps I'm missing a software to execute them faster!
Anyone with an idea?
