Problems with Chromium

I have been having  problems with my Chromium for some time I was hoping that with an update these problems would go away however they are still present so I am posting this. Quite a while ago I have this  set of problems:

1) when you click on a link (open in a new tab or not) the new page opens in several other new tabs! Sometimes this happens without anything happening on the tab you are working on.

2) when you click on a tab the tab closes (this is the most annoying bug)

3) you click on a bookmark but suddenly all bookmarks open together usually resulting in a crash.

please help!

Re: Problems with Chromium

Hi,

1) and 2) happens to me too. Do you have a laptop with a touchpad with tapping enabled ?

I ask because this often happen to me when I have a finger on the touchpad and another finger clicking on the touchpad button. I guess this happen because the synaptic driver (or chromium ?) register a middleclick when you left click while tapping.

Yes but I had a laptop with touchpad and tapping enabled before as well and I had no problems with Chromium.
