Hi,
Brand new to arch here streight from mythbuntu and very much a command line newb
In mythbuntu there where nightly builds of the 0.23-fixes package I could install. Im not looking for a nightly build source, but just wondering how I can get a more uptodate version than that in the extra repo? Would I have to build it myself?
Sorry if ive missed an obvious answer to this!!!
Thanks
Chris

Could I use the ".deb" packages and "deb2targz"?

I believe you can use this PKGBUILD on AUR for this, Simple and easy does the trick.

PS-Look in the Wiki for how-to on using AUR easily, if you are new to the idea. Tools such as Yaourt or Packer make this operation a snap.
