system time and hardware time changes after rebooting

Hi,

I got a problem when I try to set my system time and hardware time.

I use "hwclock --set --date" command to set the hardware time, and "hwclock --htctosys" to set the system time. But When the machine halted and started again, the time changes. In /etc/rc.conf, I set HARDWARECLOCK = "localtime".

Anybody know why?

Thanks.

Re: system time and hardware time changes after rebooting

have uncommented your local in /etc/locale.gen ?

If time is relative, the delay is the same.

Yes, I have uncommetted the local in /etc/locale.gen.
By the way, does the locale in locale.gen influence the system time? I think is the TIMEZONE config that will influence.
