A firmware problem? I heard (read) the rt2860 worked without a hitch in Arch, what can I do to fix this?

Pending Solved based on this users post in an old topic,
When trying 2.6.34 I was missing the firmware file.
It should be in /lib/firmware/rt2860.binIf it is not you need to download the driver from ralinktech, extract this file and put it there.
You get it here:
http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=2"Firmware RT28XX/RT30XX PCI/mPCI/PCIe/CardBus series (RT2760/RT2790/RT2860/RT2890/RT3060/RT3062/RT3562/RT2860/RT2760/RT2890/RT2790/RT3090)"
