[solved]"unattached inode" error

I had the system hang after installing a firefox add-on. I killed the computer with the off button, as I couldn't get the mouse to do anything. When the system rebooted and ran the file check, it returns "/dev/sda4 Unattached inode", then says to fix it manualy. All I came up with from Google was a post recomending to go back in with the live cd and see if anything in lost and found came up. Is that what I need to do, or are there other options?
My system has seemed slow since I've installed it. I thought perhaps it was because that's the way Arch worked, but after poking around a bit I see that others are saying that Arch is the fastest OS around. Maybe there's a connection, and I borked my install somehow?

Have you tried running fsck?
