Hi Everyone,
I'd like to ask a question regarding the usability of the Asus G73Jh-A1 in Arch Linux. If anyone has Arch installed on this laptop, please tell me how it is working, as I am considering buying this machine. My main concern is the Ati Mobility Radeon HD5870 video card in the laptop. If the drivers are easy to install, and maintain. I've never dealt with Ati in Linux before, but the googling and searching the Arch forum, and AUR posts suggests it is easy enough. I've only ever used Nvidia video cards before in linux, due to the fact that i was afraid of breakages possibly being caused. So if anyone can point me to a good howto guide for installing Arch Linux on this laptop, that would be great; and if there is anyone with Arch installed on it please let me know what you think.
