Hello,
i read about some issues with Sony VAIO Laptops having trouble with returning from Suspend to RAM and getting a disabled keyboard. Unfortunately I got the same problem on a fresh Arch Linux installation. Is there any way to bypass this problem or loading the keyboard device driver manually via script after returning from Suspend mode?
Thanx

unforunately there is isn't much you can do. If I recall correctly, suspend and hibernate heavily integrate with the kernel, so if theres a problem with compatibility, its probably a kernel issue rather than arch. Try installing another distro and seeing how it works there. Suspend and Hibernate support for laptops can be tricky so your not alone.

Well, i already thought about something similar. But adding another installation is quite an effort. Maybe i should take a look into the ubuntu forums for further clues.
Thanx anyway.:/
