Default output sound card howto?

Hi all, I have 2 sound cards on my system, 1 is a Creative Audigy 2Zs and the other is an HDA Nvidia (embeded on motherboard)

I have 2 input jacks at the front of my pc case, thats the ones im gonna use for connecting my headset, and those jacks are connected to the native soundcard (nvidia one), everything else is connected to the Audigy card.

So what I want to do is have the Audigy card for all playback stuff, and the other sound card for my headset to use skype and in-game chat and stuff like that, have read the alsa page on the wiki but no help, the skype page also gave me no clues.

So help is appreciated, post whatever output you need and I will come back and post it here asap.
