I know many Archers like to tinker, so here's something to tinker with. Basically, you need to install transmission from the repos, put one line in the config file, recompile your kernel with TCP-LP support and enable it.
I'd like to hear about your experiences with TCP-LP and possibly also µTP (available in the latest KTorrent). TCP-LP surely doesn't make things worse for me, but I'm not sure if it really makes things better.
