installing arch ppc 'base': not found in sync db

I'm trying to install arch ppc.
I get to the part where I have to install the base system and the package installation fails saying:
error: 'base': not found in sync db

You could install from CD and update later.

Archppc install disk is a netinstall and downloads everything AFAIK.

Sorry, I didn't know that.

So I guess you just have WLAN. You'll have to set it first.

What guide did you follow?

Yes, that's it, it is very succinct, you need the X86 install wiki with it.

I installed with cabled ethernet, so I can't comment.
