Awesome WM: update a naughty notification

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a way to update a already displayed notification, but there seems to be no way of doing it. E.g I want to display the current time of a song in coverart_display or to display a giant clock when I hover over my time-widget. Things like

mypopup = naughty.notify({text=....})
mypopup.bg="#ff0000"

did not work. Has anyone a idea how to do it?

Exactly! But it does not behave or look like a naughty notification.
Isn't there a way to get it done with naughty?

The only way I can see that happening is by destroying the old one and re-creating a new one with the updated text
